📚 Hello Book Friends! AN UNLIKELY ALLIANCE by Toni Shiloh is the 7th book in the K-9 Companions Series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. I enjoyed this enemy to lover story. The mayor has just announced that funding for some of the town's projects will be cut because they don't have enough money in the budget. Jalissa & Jeremy have their differences, but they now must work together to raise funds to safe the charitable organisations they work with. This alliance will become more than just business. I enjoyed how they finally found a way to be together.

Despite my initial eagerness to delve deeper into the narrative, the unexpected weightiness of the prose caught me off guard.
