📚 Hello Book Friends! BE PREPARED by Vera Brosgol is a fun story about a young girl who goes to a summer camp to find herself. Her adventure turns out quite different than she had imagined but, in the end, she discovers more about herself than expected. I love the illustrations and the story is interesting, relatable, and entertaining. This graphic novel is geared towards middle-grade, but I think any age will appreciate it.

Despite my initial eagerness to delve deeper into the narrative, the unexpected weightiness of the prose caught me off guard.
