The Garden of Promises and Lies (Found Things, #3)

📚 Hello Book Friends! This will be my first review in 2021! THE GARDEN OF PROMISES AND LIES by Paula Brackston is the third book in the Found Things Series. I love this concept of someone being able to travel in time to help others through an object that belongs to the person needing help. Xanthe is discovering more and more about her gifts as a Spinner and can now bring someone with her through time. This is an interesting twist in this series and opens doors to more adventures. This time a very old wedding dress calls Xanthe to the seventeenth century where she will meet Petronella who is betrothed to Xanthe’s nemesis: Benedict Fairfax. Fairfax wants something from Xanthe and will do all he can to get it. The book ends with a nail-biting cliff-hanger. I will have to wait for the fourth book to discover how this will turn out. This series is fantastic, and I recommend you read the books to enjoy the flow of the story.
