The Silver Chain was interesting and unique as far as an erotica book. Gustav and Serena have their ups and downs and sometime it feels a bit redundant. I sometime felt that the story was dragged longer than needed. Primula Bond's writing is good and her landscape descriptions are awesome. Her characters are not perfect and have different dimensions. I was particular surprised by the ending and it makes me curious to read the next book. Overall, I think it was a good erotica book; not over the top; well balanced between an interesting story and the right amount of erotica.
