📚 Hello Book Friends! THE CHRISTIE AFFAIR by Nina de Gramont was an enjoyable read about Agatha Christie’s 11-day disappearance, told from the perspective of Mrs. Christie’s husband’s mistress. I know this is a mouthful to start my review but bear with me. I have read a few books about Mrs. Christie’s short and shocking disappearance in the mid-20s’ and I can say that this one, although far from the true story, was an entertaining and romanticized view of the events. I decided to judge the book purely on the entertainment aspect and not dwell on the lack of historical accuracy. The writing is beautiful, the plot is well built, and the characters are interesting. It is a good read overall.
