📚 Hello Book Friends! I LOVE BEES!!! They fascinate me! I just finished reading THE MUSIC OF BEES BY Eileen Garvin and I am in awe. This is such a beautiful book. I love the story, the characters, and the awesome facts about the bees. I love the recurring theme of redemption and new beginnings throughout the book. It is a short book with lots of punch. It is a reminder to be kind to the bees… our survival depends on that.

Here are some facts about honeybees:
🐝 Bees have 5 eyes.
🐝 Bees are insects, so they have 6 legs.
🐝 Male bees in the hive are called drones.
🐝 Bees fly about 20 mph.
🐝 Female bees in the hive (except the queen) are called worker bees.
🐝 Number of eggs laid by queen: 2,000 per day is the high.
