THE CORGI AND THE QUEEN by Caroline L. Perry and illustrated by Lydia Corry is cuteness overdose!!! I love this book so much! It is a wonderful account of how Queen Elizabeth II started her love affair with Corgis. I love how the author walks us through her life story and recounts all the fun moments with her Corgis named Susan. The family trees, one for Elizabeth and one for Susan, are a fantastic addition to this book. If you are looking for a unique book for your child or someone else’s child, this is it! I recommend it! They will love this beautifully illustrated story of a queen and her corgi.
