📚 Hello Book Friends! THE ESSEX SERPENT by Sarah Perry was not for me. I rarely do not finish a book, but this is what happened with this one. I read a hundred pages and just could not get into it. The way the book is written, and the confusing story failed to grab me, and I just gave up. Don’t let my review discourage you from reading it. It must be liked by some since it became an AppleTV series.
