📚 Hello Book Friends! I am a huge fan of Catherine Ryan Hyde’s writing. Her books are simply beautiful and full of emotions. DREAMING OF FLIGHT is no exception. The friendship between an 11-year-old Stewart Little (being named like the mouse plays a big part in the story) and elderly woman named Marilyn is heartwarming and poignant. Stewie’s willingness to help Marilyn is sensational. His love for his hens is remarkable. The ending is sad and sweet at the same time, and you are left with a smile on your lips. If you love feel-good stories about intergenerational relationships, I encourage you to pick up a copy of this book.
