📚 Hello Book Friends! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

After reading NOT A HAPPY FAMILY by Shari Lapena, I have a new appreciation for my family. Although this is a work of fiction, it is not so farfetched to think that there are such families in real life. I love Ms. Lapena’s books and this one is no exception. Her writing is right on point and brings up reactions from the reader. This book is well constructed and delivers a strong ending. If you enjoyed a complex family relationship staged in a thriller, this one's for you. Great book!

Despite my initial eagerness to delve deeper into the narrative, the unexpected weightiness of the prose caught me off guard.
