📚 Hello Book Friends! I believe that THE DOLLHOUSE was Fiona Davis’ first book, and it is a good one. I love Ms. Davis’ writing style and her research on the matters presented in her books pays off. The mix of fiction and true events makes the book so interesting. THE DOLLHOUSE has two timelines: 1952 and 2016. Rose, a journalist, wants to do a piece on the surviving women who lives at the women only Barbizon Hotel in the 50s’. There are still a few of them still living at the hotel which has been converted into a condo building. Through Rose, we will discover the lives of these women in that era. We will also discover the reason why one of them always wears a vail and what happened Halloween night 1952. This is a fantastic read. It you have not read it yet, please do.
