📚 Hello Book Friends! Holy Moly!!! What a fantastic book! SERPENT & DOVE by Shelby Mahurin has been on my TBR shelf for a while. I am happy I finally picked it up and read it. A story that includes, witches, religious zealous, and witch hunters can only be a great one. Add a few French sentences and you have a perfect combination in my opinion. Louise has been in hiding for a while. She knows that if the white witch discovers where she is, her life will be ended. Reid, a chasseur, has made a vow to hunt and kill witches. When unusual circumstances force them to get married, it is the beginning of a cat and mouse match. Louise must protect her secret and Reid must do what he does best: hunt witches. After the white witch finds her, Louise will face her biggest challenges and Reid will have to confront his heart. Will he chase Louise or save her?
