I got Carrots for free through Book Bud (www.bookbud.com). It was the perfect book after reading a long, very involved and deep novel. I love Colleen Helme's light writing style. The book plot is fun and full of ups and downs in the action department. I like that the author did not polish the main characters and that she even succeeded to make you like the worst of them.

This is the first book in a series. I suggest you read it before any other book because it sets the foundation for all the other stories.
