Medicine Walk by Richard Wagamese
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I received a copy of this book from Random House in exchange for an honest review.
In all honesty, this is one of the best written books I have read in a very long time. I was mesmerized by the story, the landscapes and the characters. Every sentences were spectacular imagery and the author's words carried me on a wave of poetic beauty. Each page was filled with strong emotions and the plot was never predictable.
From beginning to end, this book remained strong, making you want to read further to find out what is next. I particularly enjoyed how the author treated the interactions between Frank and his father. The author dealt with the ugly subjects of failed parenting, guilt, remorse, betrayal and regrets in a beautifully way.
Absolutely brilliant!
